I design and fabricate with leaded glass to ground myself. And after more than 30 years, I am still so fascinated by the medium and what it can achieve and depict.
My work tends to address issues of importance to me, which is why I always return to nature and people. I am presently working on a series representing the strong southern women of my life.

I am a native of North Alabama, settling permanently in Auburn, AL and New Orleans, LA. In the early 80’s, shortly after completing a Bachelors degree, followed by two Masters degrees in Hearing Sciences, I learned the basics of stain glass construction from a dear friend. I am predominantly self taught. As I discovered my love of glass art, I began to pick apart traditional patterns and designing my own. Using repurposed glass, frames, and 2-D accent pieces, my visions came to life.

My work tends to depict my love of nature (mainly birds and trees) and the women who have strongly influenced my life. I have gained a reputation in the Southeast for stain glass art - especially for architecture, with windows for churches, as well as other public and private spaces.
