My work seeks to tap into the natural world and phrases that communicates my concerns of societal issues. Beginning with these words that I explore, I letterpress print on my handmade paper. After which, I begin investigating how particular trees, insects or animals belong and fit into what I want to say. I invite the viewer to question the dissonance between image and word. Trusting that it stops and causes them to think.
